Vietnam Commemoration: Operation SHUFLY

Join us in commemoration of the 60th anniversary of OPERATION SHUFLY, the first Marine Task Unit to provide air support during the Vietnam War.\ \ Adult audiences will hear a panel discussion about the Vietnam War, and take a guided tour of our Semper Fidelis Memorial Park, highlighting the memorials and monuments from that conflict. Families will have the opportunity to learn more about the science of camouflage and helicopters, make a small, rubber band driven helicopter to take home, and see a special historical display by our volunteer corps.
