Join local eco-artist Allegra Scribner for a hands-on creative experience that connects art, culture, and ocean stewardship. Guests are invited to do a short beach clean up before the workshop, collecting bits of marine debris and microplastics from the shoreline in the provided mesh bag (in-room), transforming what was once waste (‘ōpala') into a meaningful piece of art.

During the workshop, Allegra will guide participants in repurposing these found materials into unique artworks that celebrate the beauty and resilience of Kauaʻi's natural environment. All materials and tools are provided, and guests are welcome to use pre-collected ocean plastics if they prefer not to collect their own.

This workshop offers a mindful way to engage with the island's coastlines, reflect on our relationship with the sea, and take home a piece of Kauaʻi with a purpose.
