Stormwater Maui Keiki Activity Day

Bring the family to a full day of fun and learning at the Stormwater Maui Keiki Activity Day, held at the Maui Ocean Center. This engaging community event is hosted by the State of Hawai‘i Department of Transportation, Highways Maui District, and is designed to help keiki understand how we can all help protect Maui's waters.

Throughout the day, children can participate in hands-on, interactive activities featuring colorful 3D models of a coastal watershed and storm drain system. Through guided demonstrations, keiki will explore how rainfall travels across the land, how pollution moves through waterways, and why stormwater care is essential for keeping Maui's reefs and ocean life healthy.

Young participants can also win fun prizes for joining the activities, making this a perfect family outing that blends education, environmental awareness, and island pride.
