Join us for an inspiring evening at the Maui Ocean Center as part of the Pilikahakai Foundation's Cultures & Coastlines Speaker Series. This complimentary community program welcomes the Ocean Conservancy, presenting "Centering Communities in Conservation and Research."
Hear from a panel of experts including Henry Huntington, Mikayla Spencer, Anjel Iriaghomo, and Aspen Bataille, who will share how community leadership, Indigenous knowledge, and equitable partnerships are shaping the future of marine conservation. Together, they will highlight ways coastal communities safeguard ecosystems while preserving cultural connections to the ocean.
Visitors are invited to engage in meaningful dialogue, deepen their understanding of ocean stewardship, and connect with local efforts making a global impact.
Admission is free and open to the public. Seating is first-come, first-served, so plan to arrive early.
