Check-in: 7:45am
Sailing: 8:00 to 9:30am
In celebration of World Ocean Day, OUTRIGGER Kāʻanapali Beach Resort and Teralani Sailing Adventures invite you to a one-of-a-kind cultural sailing experience with purpose. Set sail aboard a Teralani Catamaran and journey along the beautiful Kāʻanapali coastline while learning about the deep cultural connection between the people of Hawai‘i and the ocean.
Led by cultural specialist Anela Benson, this special event will share traditional Hawaiian knowledge, ocean stewardship practices, and the significance of Mālama Honua (care for the Earth) and Aloha ʻĀina (love for the land). Guests will also hear from Ed Lyman, Resource Protection Specialist with the National Marine Sanctuaries, who leads Hawaiʻi's large whale entanglement response efforts and works to protect humpback whales through rescue, research, and conservation education.
Proceeds support Kahakukahi Ocean Academy and its mission to educate and inspire youth through ocean-based cultural experiences.
Kamaʻāina: $39
General: $59
