Join us in honoring Hawai‘i's beloved Lei Day, a celebration of aloha, artistry, and connection. Resort guests are welcome to enjoy a morning of hands-on lei-making, cultural demonstrations, and heartfelt performances in tribute to this cherished island tradition.

Resort guests are welcome to create their own fresh flower lei with guidance from our cultural specialists. Supplies available while flowers last.
Complimentary for resort guests. Ages 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Walk-in available.

Lei-Making Method Demonstration
9:15 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. | Resort Lobby
Watch and learn as our team shares a variety of lei-making techniques, including Lei Wili, Lei Hīpuʻu, Lei Hilo, and Lei Haku. Each method offers a unique glimpse into Hawaiian craftsmanship and cultural expression.
Reservation is not necessary.

Host Lei Competition - Guest Choice Awards

Admire a beautiful collection of floral and non-floral lei made by our talented resort hosts. Guests are invited to vote for their favorite, and help us award the Guest Choice Award winner.

Aloha Friday Performance & Awards Presentation
11:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. | Resort Lawn - Under the Koa Tree
Enjoy a lively and heartwarming performance of Hawaiian music and hula by our hosts as we celebrate the spirit of Lei Day. The winners of the lei competition will also be announced. The performance and award presentation will be shared on Facebook @OUTRIGGERKaanapaliBeachResort so friends and family can join in from afar.
