Pepeluali (February) is recognized as Mahina ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi (Hawaiian Language Month), a time to celebrate and encourage the use of the Hawaiian language.

This is a time to honor Lonoikamakahiki and express gratitude for the abundance of 'ai (food) and aloha.

10am | Niuolahiki Lawn
Observe traditional protocol and closing of Makahiki.

1:00pm | Resort Lawn
Celebrate Makahiki with a fun hands-on demonstration of traditional Hawaiian games!

Walk-ins are welcomed and subject to availability. For more information, please visit Kawenaokeao Cultural Center (8am to 5pm).
