Prince Kūhiō Maui Hoʻolauleʻa
March 27, 2026 | Queen Kaʻahumanu Center | 4:00-8:00 PM
Celebrate the legacy of one of Hawaiʻi's most beloved leaders at the Prince Kūhiō Maui Hoʻolauleʻa, an evening of Hawaiian culture, music, and community. Held at the Queen Kaʻahumanu Mall, this annual event honors Prince Jonah Kūhiō Kalanianaʻole—"Ke Aliʻi Makaʻāinana," the Prince of the People—whose lifelong dedication helped protect and uplift Native Hawaiians through initiatives such as the Hawaiian Homestead Act of 1920 and the founding of the Hawaiian Civic Club movement.
Visitors and residents are invited to enjoy a family-friendly evening featuring hula performances, live Hawaiian music, cultural exhibits, and hands-on workshops that share traditions and stories passed down through generations. The celebration also recognizes the many individuals and organizations who work year-round to preserve Hawaiian culture and support community well-being.
Join us as we honor Prince Kūhiō's enduring spirit and celebrate the richness of Hawaiian heritage.
